Each year Fellows are inducted in honor of their sustained, long-term, meaningful and effective support of EDSIG in its ongoing mission to improve IS Education, mentor IS students, and foster the careers of IS faculty.

Peter Y. Wu

Dr. Peter Y. Wu is a Professor and the Chair of the Computer and Information Systems Department at Robert Morris University. His research interests include geographic information systems and software engineering. Peter earned a Ph.D. in Computer System Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Afterwards, he worked for IBM Research Division, as a post-doc research fellow and then a staff member at the T.J. Watson Research Center. Peter previously held faculty appointments at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and the University of Pittsburgh.

Peter served on the ISCAP-EDSIG board as an at-large director from 2013 to 2018 and as treasurer from 2015 to 2018. As a direct result of Peter's hard work and leadership, ISCAP-EDSIG organized successful conferences. Peter served in the roles of Assistant Papers Chair, Papers Co-chair and eventually Paper Chair for the Conference in Information Systems Applied Research (CONISAR). For many years, Peter was an integral member of the ISCAP-EDSIG board who helped lead by stepping into key roles at critical times. Peter continues to serve on the editorial board for both the Information Systems Education Journal (ISEDJ) and the Journal of Information Systems Applied Research (JISAR). We are pleased to induct Peter Y. Wu as an EDSIG Fellow.
