EDSIG

Alan Peslak is a Professor of Information Sciences and Technology at Penn State Worthington Scranton. He received his Ph.D. in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He has over 25 years of diverse manufacturing and service industry experience and is on the editorial boards of numerous journals. He was appointed Discipline Coordinator for the Division of Information Sciences and Technology in the University College for the 2011-2012. His research areas include information technology social, ethical, and economic issues as well as information technology pedagogy. Publications include the Communications of the ACM, Information Resources Management Journal, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Journal of Information Systems Education, Team Performance Management, and Information Research. He has been very active in EDSIG(2003) having served on the EDSIG Board, as EDSIG President, and in varying capacities at conferences. He is been an active member of the EDSIG conference since 2003. Alan developed the idea of CONISAR and was the first papers chair. He has been involved in the running of the 2005, 2006, 2007 conferences.
