Pat Sendall is a Professor in the Management Department and is Vice Provost for Academic Affairs at Merrimack College. She has B.S. in Business Administration from Rowan University; an M.B.A. Information Systems from St. Joseph’s University; and a Ph.D. Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University. In 2011-2012, she was American Council on Education (ACE) Fellow at University of Massachusetts Lowell. Dr. Sendall's research interests include e-commerce, social networking, cheating, and business and information systems pedagogy. She is the author numerous articles in the Information Systems Education Journal and the International Journal of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. She is a member of the Academy of Business Education, the Association for Computing Machinery, and the American Association of University Women. She has served as President of the Academy of Business Education and an EDSIG Board Director from 2005-2010, where she was the coordinator of the original EDSIG Fellows award.
Each year Fellows are inducted in honor of their sustained, long-term, meaningful and effective support of EDSIG in its ongoing mission to improve IS Education, mentor IS students, and foster the careers of IS faculty.
